The Dark Star Lord's Mausoleum (Japanese: 冥星霊殿, "Meisei Reiden" / lit. "Dark Star Mausoleum") is a late-game section of the ruins. The Amarna, a tribe of the 5th Children, are imprisoned here. The area has an Egyptian theme.

  • Walk through the staircase that goes right through the Life Seal to unlock the chest.

Ankh Jewel

• Location: (E-3)
  • Cling to the pillars at the upper right area with the Grapple Claw. Destroy the stone sculpture on the wall (or double-jump with the Feather) and step on the floor switch.

Crucifix

• Location: (C-8)
  • Defeat Aten-Ra and open the chest.

Dissonance

• Location: (C-8)
  • Defeat Aten-Ra and absorb the dissonance.

Research Papers

• Location: (A-4)
  • Just take them with you.

Crystal Skull

• Location: (B-3)
  • Hold up a Crystal Skull in front of the chest.

Maat's Feather

• Location: (B-7).
  • You must solve both of the Dark Star Lord's Footprints puzzles in (C-7) to enter into this room, which do not appear on the map. Ammit must be dead, too. Jump onto the alligator's mouth and then onto the scale with absolutely zero weights on-hand.
    • You can quickly get rid of all your weights by talking to Shennong in Ancient Chaos.

Feather

• Location: (A-4)
  • Destroy the tablet in the bottom left corner of the room. Then, defeat Angra Mainyu at (A-3) (access this area via Corridor of Blood) and drop down to the chest.
    • In the Initial Release of the game, you can damage boost up to the treasure chest by jumping off of the highest pots. In future revisions, the pots have been moved to lower platforms, so this is no longer possible.

Vessel

• Location: (B-1; C-1)
  • Use the Crystal Pyramid to spawn Ammit. Then, defeat it.

La-Mulana

• Location: (C-3)
  • Throw a Bomb at the wall in the bottom right of (B-3), then pass through to (C-3) where the now-unlocked chest is.

Puzzles

Get to the Grail Tablet

• Location: (C-3)
  • There is a staircase just barely popping out of the ground at the bottom-left corner of the room. You can take the staircase and it will lead you straight to the Grail Tablet.

Dark Star Lord's Hall / The Dark Star Lord's Footsteps Puzzle

• Location: (C-7)
  • To begin the fight against Sekhmet and gain access to Aten-Ra's room, chant the following mantras in front of the Bust of Mimir, in this order: Himinn, Sól, Iorð, Himinn, Iorð.
  • To gain access to the hidden B-7, chant the following mantras in front of the Bust of Mimir, in this order: Himinn, Sól, Iorð, Himinn, Eldr.

Unlocking Ra's Ankh

• Location: (C-8)

• You first have to talk to Horus in Gate of the Dead (E-5) and say, "That's right!"
• Then, Amen-Ra will show up in his room at Dark Star Lord's Mausoleum (C-5) and disappear.
• Return to Horus' room in Gate of the Dead.
• Walk into the door at Dark Star Lord's Mausoleum (C-6) and the Ankh will be unlocked.

Note: Amen-Ra won't appear if you enter the Dark Star Lord's Mausoleum through the Corridor of Blood; you must unseal the Yggdrasil Gate in the Gate of the Dead to make the Ankh appear.

Access to inside of Pyramid

• Location: (D-5)
  • With Mjolnir equipped, attack either statue in this room so it becomes fully charged from the Eye of Divine Retribution, then unleash the stored power on the circular pyramid switch in the centre of the room. Doing so will make a staircase appear, granting access to the inside of the pyramid in D-4.

The Dark Star Lord's Pyramid Puzzle

• Location: (E-3)
  • Following the Anu cuneiforms on the Dark Star Lord's Footprints, use the Djed Pillar to chant the Himinn, Sól, Máni, Sær, and Eldr Mantras simultaneously under the ancient text in the background. Then, step on the platform that rises up and use the Pyramid Crystal. Two traps will drop on top of the platform. Moving to the left of the platform avoids them.
    • If you do not have the Destiny Tablet in your inventory, you will not be able to enter the door that appears at the top of the pyramid.

  • Attack the wall behind the spikes in the lower-left until it breaks, revealing this glossary entry.

Angra Mainyu

  • Whip the wall, on the 2nd platform from left, from the right side.

Ammit

• Location: (C-4)
  • Using the Feather, double-jump up the ladder at the bottom-right to the lone platform. Then, whip the left wall.

Aten-Ra

• Location: (C-6)
  • After defeating Ra, enter the door again to find this glossary entry.

C-25th Child: Amarna Ammit, the monster that feasts on souls. It hides in a garden, cloaked by the power of the stars. A-35th Child: Amarna Maat's ritual measures the weight of one's heart. Sins must weigh balanced against Maat's feather. The body must be innocent, free of excess. Hearts that do not balance the scales will be devoured by Ammit. B-35th Child: Amarna The contents of the chest go to the one who already holds them high. C-35th Child: Amarna The pedestal of the Dark Lord is summoned by mantra. Summoned to where the pyramid is held aloft. D-3Underworld The Eternal Prison, the Underworld. A land that is part Doom, and part Gloom. Doom that will destroy even flame. B-46th Child: Alfr This is the Dark Star Lord's Mausoleum. The land of they who plotted a path to the sky alongside their path of rebellion. B-41st Child: Anunnaki The power left by the Sky People is hidden amid an Ancient Chaos. It is the manifestation of the power that will destroy Eg-Lana. C-41st Child: Anunnaki Treta Yuga, the age of silver. When virtue declined and people came to lean on ceremony. D-45th Child: Amarna The lord of the sky looks down upon the Dark Star Lord's Pyramid. Awaiting the birth of a new Dark Lord. Testing whether they will be able to reach the ends of the Dark Star. B-55th Child: Amarna At the peak of the Dark Star Lord's Pyramid lies the Benben stone. A throne where the recognized lord of the Dark Star is permitted to sit. The lord with Heaven's mandate will arrive at Nibiru, at skies distant. D-56th Child: Vanir The mantra of fire represents battle. It rests at the Fire Altar of the land where warriors gather. B-65th Child: Amarna Obtain the crystal that enseals a pyramid. Then, all hidden in this land shall be revealed. The truth of the pyramid will be exposed. C-65th Child: Amarna The Dark Lord could harness storms. B-75th Child: Amarna Judgement will be rendered before Maat. To be prepared for judgement is to have a wicked heart. An innocent heart knows no wickedness. An innocent heart can balance the scales. The undead Ammit will render the judgement. C-71st Child: Kotoamatsu Trace the Dark Lord's footprints. C-71st Child: Kotoamatsu Incant the words of each of the five footprints in turn. When the five words are spoken the road will appear. D-75th Child: Amarna We will forfeit the earth for the power of Heaven. We will rise to the sky by way of the Dark Star Lord's pyramid.
