After revealing the "treasure of all life" brought back from the ruins of La-Mulana, he returned to an hermetic life once more. Although he quit after finishing his research on "The root of all life", he finds himself slowly drawn back into the world of archeology.

Shawn Kosugi is a legendary archeologist and one of the main characters in both La-Mulana games. Now he's working together with his son while exploring the Eg-Lana on their own and supporting Lumisa on her journey. They can be seen in various places within the ruins.

A legendary archeologist and Lumisa's grandfather. In his old age he has retired from research, though it would appear his appetite for rummaging through ruins has not yet been fully sated.
